Trainstation Lorentzweiler

Lorentzweiler station is located in the centre of the village, just a stone’s throw from the road to Luxembourg. A large car park with 120 spaces is available for passengers, as well as a bike box for those travelling to the station by bike.
The railway lines connect Luxembourg City with the north of the country and continue on to Belgium.
The quays on both sides are 200 metres long
On platform 1 there is a brand-new shelter for passengers, which is heated but has no seating (2.75 m x 5.57 m), with a door leading outside (1.15 m wide).
At platform 2, we find the same shelter – the same size, but with doors that are difficult for people with disabilities to open.
The platforms are equipped with CCTV cameras, loudspeakers and public address systems, but there are no alarm buttons or toilet facilities.
Access to platform 2 is via an underpass, with large steps, clearly signposted, a smooth surface, and handrails on both sides of the stairs indicating the location in Braille and raised lettering.
